General Summary:
We have 6-month internship openings as part of Qualcomm's European Intern Program starting between January and March 2023.

To qualify for one of the openings you must be a student (electrical engineering or computer science with major in communication) in the middle or towards the end of your studies looking for an Intern placement as a mandatory or voluntary part of your degree for 6 months.

This internship position includes test execution in stationary and mobility (drive test) conditions in our Frankfurt labs and across European 4G and 5G mobile networks.

Are you about to finish your studies in electrical engineering / communications?
Do you want to work on latest mobile technology?
Do you want to understand the whole mobile communication system and not only small modules?
Are you handson and playful with a strong theoretical background?

Preferred Qualifications:

Theoretical knowledge in a few of the mentioned topics: GSM, UMTS, LTE, 5G, OSI model, handovers, TCP / IP protocol, fading, source and channel coding.
High level understanding from Android OS
Willingness to travel
Can do attitude
Able to take ownership for assigned task
Good English written and oral expression

Education:

Studying for Electrical Engineering or Computer Science degree with major in communication.

Must have the legal right to work in Germany for 6 consecutive months or an internship be a mandatory part of the course completion.
