    Description
  • You will join a cross functional engineering team of 20 to provide technical leadership to 6 Senior Backend Engineers. Although you are in a cross functional team, your priority will be the backend developers and the backend of the core product.

Your Role:


  • Hands on backend development with Ruby on Rails (25% of the time)
  • Technical leadership in key projects that will have a real impact on the company's future
  • Getting the best from the team
  • Code reviews
  • Encourage best practices
  • Mentor the engineers and help them further develop their skills
  • Assist with hiring and building your team

Your Profile:


  • Prior technical leadership experience
  • Senior experience as a backend developer
  • Ruby on Rails is your main backend language
  • Happy to work in a fast paced company
  • Familiar with a startup environment
  • React experience (nice to have)
  • Python experience (nice to have)
