What you will do

The Production Planner (M/F/d) is an advanced role who reports directly to the Senior Manager SCM Planning & Production Control.

As a Production Planner (M/F/d), you are responsible for Supply Chain activities in order to ensure on-time delivery to the customers and inventory efficiency.

You work closely with Operations, Customer Excellence, Sales, Procurement, and Engineering to determine availabilities, drive on-time delivery, and establish appropriate inventory levels for all EMEA locations.

The position is based in the Clarios EMEA headquarters in Hannover, Germany.

Main Responsibilities

Participation in defined areas of the production planning process
Responsibility for the production control of quantity and timing of scheduled production orders
Key contact between the Supply Planning and Customer Excellence Team as well as to the Distribution Centers
Analysis on daily shortage and backorder, route cause finding and corrective actions
Participation in and lead of Supply Chain projects
Responsibility for the phase in/out management
Target Stock definition, analysis and correction

What we look for

Secondary or University Degree in Economics, Engineering, Logistics or IT background
First experience in logistics planning or equivalent experience by gaining first work experiences during some internships or similar
Ability to work and contribute to a team
Capability to work flexible and openminded, within crossfunctional environments
Ability to prioritize and act with a sense of urgency
SAP and PP skills or similar tool
Strong analytical skills
Very strong knowledge in MS Office Packages, especially in Excel and Access is desirable
Strong communication skills, write and communicate fluent in English, ideally further European languages like French or German
