Our Global Claims team is responsible for managing large claims, monitoring claims portfolios and providing claims services to Munich Re's clients globally.

The Global Claims Management team has developed and continuously works on the Global Claims Ambition 2025 to strive for a digital Claims transformation while increasing the engagement with our internal partners and external clients.


APAC/GC Claims, Claims Centre and the Claims Data, Systems and Analytics team are looking for an executive assistant to support our managers in the daily routine and our staff in planning, organising and executing projects, events and presentations.


You will report to the head of Claims Centre, but will be interacting with all three teams and respective managers as above.


  • Supporting the managers in managing their personal agenda as well as in travel planning and travel expense accounting
  • Organising specific administrative processes such as the administration of Claims authorities independently
  • Organising or supporting internal events and client events independently as well as acting as a contact for partners and visitors
  • Arranging departmental workshops, offsite events, etc. as well as managing other team matters (e.g. distribution lists, absences, etc.)
  • Supporting the teams in internal (Sharepoint, Yammer) and external (e.g. social media) communication activities
  • Creating and editing PowerPoint presentations and Word documents
  • Supporting and/or taking partial responsibility in internal projects, e.g. by coordinating appointments, internet research, documentation and project organisation
  • Managing bills and financial accounting within the departments and supporting managers in expense planning/cost controlling
  • Providing further general assistance and performing administrative tasks

Education/qualifications:


  • Vocational education, professional training or university degree

Experience:


  • Experience in assistance and/or project management with international teams
  • Experience working with virtual teams or networks
  • Very good knowledge of MS Office (PowerPoint, Outlook, Word, Excel) and communication tools (Teams, etc.)
  • Knowledge of or willingness to familiarise with administrative and organisational processes and structures at Munich Re
  • Knowledge of content management systems, website design and scheduling tools an advantage
