tasks:

***- Maintenance of _P. falciparum _cell cultures

Performance of immunological assays (in vitro) such as ELISA, Elispot, OPA, ADRB
Responsible for providing technical assistance to members of the group for immunological assays.
Organisation of the laboratory this includes but is not limited to ordering of stocks for the laboratory, contacting external suppliers for equipment services and speaking to internal services where necessary.
Quality management

profile:

***- Technical degree as a research technician (MTA, BTA etc.) or equivalent (undergraduate degree)

Prior experience in laboratory organization and lab work is necessary
Previous experience in cell culture, ELISA and flow cytometry desirable
Advanced skills in software suites such as Microsoft Office and GraphPad
Ability to work reliably, efficiently and independently.
Experience in extensive lab book/note keeping.
Willingness to work in an international and highly collaborative team of scientists.
Excellent communications skills in English and fluency in German.
