As a Product Owner (f/m/d) within our dynamic Product Team On-Premise Infrastructure, your focus will be on IT/OT-Network and Hosting Infrastructure.

You will play a vital role in contributing to the development and optimization of our solutions within process control and business networks.

Reporting to the Head of Product Management, and based in Heidelberg, you will work closely with cross-functional teams to bridge the gap between business requirements and technical implementation.


Mission of the Job:

Your mission as a Product Owner will be to gather and translate business needs into actionable product requirements, create user stories, and prioritize the product backlog.

By collaborating with developers and engineers, you will ensure the delivery of high-quality products that meet customer needs.

Your expertise in IT/OT-Network and Hosting Infrastructure will be crucial in driving the development and optimization of our solutions, ultimately enhancing process control and business networks.


In this role, you will have the opportunity to contribute to the strategic direction of our products, engage with stakeholders at all levels, and actively seek ways to improve processes and deliver value to customers.

Your proactive problem-solving skills and effective communication will be key to your success in driving product development within the IT/OT-Network and Hosting Infrastructure domain.


Overall, you will be an integral part of our team, working together to deliver innovative and efficient solutions that meet the evolving needs of our customers in the process control and business network space.

Your profile:

Education:

  • A bachelor's degree in a relevant field such as Computer Science, Information Technology, or Engineering is preferred. However, equivalent work experience or certifications may be considered

Professional Experience:

  • First experience working as a Product Owner or in a similar role, preferably in the IT/OT-Network and Hosting Infrastructure domain
  • First understanding of IT/OT-Network and Hosting Infrastructure technologies, processes, and best practices
  • Experience with process control and business networks is highly desirable

Must-Have Hard Skills:

  • Knowledge of agile methodologies, particularly Scrum, and experience working in an Agile/Scrum environment
  • Ability to gather and translate business requirements into clear and actionable product requirements and user stories
  • Proficiency in creating and managing product backlogs using tools such as Jira
  • Familiarity with IT/OT-Network and Hosting Infrastructure concepts, including SDWAN, firewalls, VPNs, server deployment, and backup solutions

Additional Skills Required:

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively collaborate with crossfunctional teams, stakeholders, and customers
  • Analytical and problemsolving skills to identify solutions and make datadriven decisions
  • Strong organizational and prioritization skills to manage multiple tasks and projects simultaneously
  • Adaptability and flexibility to work in a fastpaced, evolving environment
  • Continuous learning mindset to stay updated with emerging technologies and industry trends

Certifications (Optional):

  • Relevant certifications such as Certified Scrum Product Owner (CSPO), Certified SAFe Product Owner/Product Manager (POPM), or any certifications related to IT/OT-Network and Hosting Infrastructure would be a plus
