We have an exciting opportunity for a
Head of Geographic Expansion and Partnerships, Specialty Care to join Norgine. The person holding this position will report to Vice-President of Growth and Launch Brands.


The core responsibility of the of the role is development and implementation of geographic expansion strategic/tactical plans and supporting the achievement of the ambition of the Speciality Care BU.

In addition, this person will be responsible for leading on partner relationship management, both directly and indirectly.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES & ACCOUNTABILITIES

_ Geographic expansion:
_


  • Define the geographic expansion strategy for Norgine specialty care portfolio, aligned with the company and business unit objectives
  • Conduct thorough analysis to identify potential target territories and evaluate their potential for growth and profitability
  • Assess regulatory requirements, market dynamics, competitive landscape, and other relevant factors to determine the feasibility and viability of expansion into new geographies
  • Develop crossfunctional tactical plans to enter new territories, taking into account commercial, supply, financial implications
  • Lead the identification and evaluation of potential business partnerships in target territories
  • Codevelop and implement effective gotomarket strategies, including pricing, distribution, and marketing plans, to ensure successful launches and uptakes in new territories

_Partnership management:
_


  • Provide effective leadership on planning and management of the operational aspects of allocated alliances, including coordinating the internal team, ensuring alliance effectiveness, appropriate communications, coordination of activities, anticipating issues, facilitating conflict resolution, managing escalation, solving business problems and negotiating with the partner on ongoing agreements
  • Responsible for renegotiation of existing deals, contractual amendments and renewals
  • Responsible for the sales forecasting and revenue generation for the partners markets, and oversight of all partner performance for sales, profitability, forecasting, royalty and milestone payments
  • Management of all postdeal partnering activity covering Integration and Alliance Management/Regional Partnerships
  • Working with Alliance Management and Regional Partnerships to ensure that appropriate joint and cross functional project teams are established
  • Ensuring that the partnership activities are appropriately managed, both inlicensing and outlicensing, and that the organisation implements appropriate processes to support partnering activity.
  • Responsible for ensuring Norgine and partner compliance with contractual obligations, including milestones and commitments

Requirements:


  • Extensive experience in senior professional positions within the industry with experience across multiple countries
  • Proven track record of successfully leading geographic expansion initiatives in the pharmaceutical industry, at a senior management level
  • MBA, Masters degree or equivalent.
  • Indepth knowledge of the pharmaceutical industry, including market dynamics, regulatory environment, and global trends
  • Strong analytical and strategic thinking skills with the ability to translate insights into actionable plans
  • Experience of managing P&Ls
  • Demonstrated project management experience, including the ability to prioritise tasks, manage timelines, and deliver results within budget
  • Strong leadership qualities, including the ability to inspire and motivate a team towards achieving common goals
  • Excellent written and spoken English, as well as very good knowledge of MS Office
