Job Overview

We are looking for a skilled and professional Desktop Support Engineer with relevant 3+ years of experience in Dusseldorf, Germany to assist our client on site for a future project.

Contract length 4 months (extendable)

Contract Type Freelance

REQUIREMENT:

Resident visa.
Work permit.
B2 or above German language

As a Desktop Support Engineer, you should provide support and technical assistance regarding any hardware and software issue. You should also possess a lot of knowledge and experience to troubleshoot problems and errors. You should be quick to respond to these computer issues. You should be well aware of the technical difficulties and how to resolve them in the best possible way.

You should have proficient knowledge to provide technical assistance to our clients and good communication skills. You should also have the ability to upgrade, install and troubleshoot software related issues.

Scope of Work:

Desktop imaging
New machine setup, PC refreshes, and Hardware replacements
Provide Level 2 IT Support for all employees (onsite)
Laptop/Desktop[ trouble
Provide occasional level 1 technology support during highdemand periods (incidents/outages, enterprisewide deployments, etc.)
Initial troubleshooting of the network issues
Port testing, Bandwidth monitoring, Shared drive issues, etc.

Incident Management

Responding, tracking, resolving, and reporting of escalated/assigned
Provide the second line of defense for enduser computing support within IT
Track IT assets and follow the inventory management guidelines
Desktops, Laptops, Tablets, and other peripheral equipment
Develop positive relationships with the business and other functions at all levels
Experience with: Deploying, updating, optimizing, and troubleshooting in O365 minimum handling VIP end users

Minimum 3 years of experience

Salary:
Up to 3,800.00€ per month
