You contribute to the delivery of the Learning & Development department by having the first contact with participants, facilitators and other stakeholders and taking care of administrative follow up.

The position is based in Berlin with a functional link to the L&D department in Amsterdam.

In your role you will

  • Schedule, plan, coordinate and organise the (onboarding and medical) training of individuals and groups
  • Be the first point of contact for participants, and be responsible for the administrative follow up with internal and external stakeholders
  • Inform the course participants about courses and align with other MSF sections on processes and planning
  • Give administrative support for participants in obtaining visa's and insurances and book travel arrangements (flights)
  • Communicate with participants and facilitators about practicalities (accommodation, travel, visa, dietary wishes etc.)
  • Support the Learning & Development advisors with preparation and planning of courses
  • Maintain departmental tools/communication such as training brochures and website
You Have

  • Completed apprenticeship in administrative, commercial or comparable professional training
  • Strong (cross cultural) communication skills, excellent verbal and written English language skills
  • Preferably 2 years of working experience in administration management, possibly as an executive assistant or similar role or an adequate apprenticeship with initial experience in tasks matching the profile
  • Good office based admin skills, ideally in an HR / L&D environment
  • Advanced digital literacy and familiarity with business software such as Microsoft Word, Excel,Teams and Outlook)
  • Ability to work on your own initiative as well as part of a team with a personality that includes resilience, flexibility, the ability to prioritize
  • High level of integrity and ability to recognise and correct mistakes and maintain continuous improvements
  • Strong interest in working to support the learning and development of staff and willingless to travel to support face to face events

  • Payment according to a transparent internal salary structure; in this position according to group 2 with fulltime employment (40h/week) from 3.125 Euro to a maximum of 3.954 Euro, depending on the relevant professional experience
