Coordinate and execute MathWorks events (physical and online) across EMEA as part of the central event team
Event types include webinars, seminars, tradeshows, or conferences
Manage the entire event cycle, from preevent planning to delivery and postevent evaluation
Identify opportunities to improve processes, execution, and respond to industry trends
Create detailed event proposals, including timelines, venues, suppliers, staffing, and budgets
Research and negotiate contracts with venues, digital platforms, suppliers, and contractors
Collaborate with internal teams and external resources
Manage and coordinate suppliers and all event logistics such as venue, catering, and travel
Handson execution combined with strategic thinking attitude
Strong project and time management skills, detailoriented, and deadlinedriven
Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills in English and fluent in German
Ability to collaborate effectively within a diverse team and adjust communication style accordingly
Analytical mindset to derive insights from marketing and sales data
Budgeting, negotiation, and vendor management skills
Proactive and creative problem solver
Experience in working in a central event service/support model is desired
Experience in the tech industry would be a plus
A bachelor's degree and 6 years of professional work experience (or a master's degree and 3 years of professional work experience, or equivalent experience) is required.
