Your Mission

  • In this position, you are the appointed company representative for waste in accordance with 59 KrWG at the German Karl Storz sites
  • You monitor compliance with the relevant requirements and legal regulations in the area of waste and immission control law
  • You create concepts and optimize existing concepts to protect the environment
  • You keep waste balances
  • You carry out site inspections, prepare inspection reports and process open issues (waste and immission control)
  • You will also carry out training courses
  • You act as an internal and external contact person for all waste and immission control issues
  • You will be involved in the preparation and followup of environmental management audits in accordance with ISO 14001

Your Talents

  • Completed studies in the field of environmental or resource management, environmental technology, environmental engineering or natural sciences
  • Training as a waste management officer desirable
  • Very good knowledge of waste and pollution control
  • Structured and independent way of working
  • Confident appearance, assertiveness as well as communication and teamwork skills
  • Very good written and spoken German and English skills
