In order to support Airframe Perimeter, Airbus Commercial is looking for a


Bachelor's/Master's student within Development of Structural Components in the field of Airframe Perimeter (d/f/m):


  • Location: _Hamburg _
  • Start: _As soon as possible _
  • Duration: _6 months _

Your location:

You will be working at the largest production site for civil aircraft situated in Hamburg. Its location on the southern banks of the river Elbe includes the option to commute by ferry. Your tasks and responsibilities:


  • Architectural development of a component within the rear fuselage.
  • Impact analysis and integration of a component into the fuselage.
  • First structural analysis of a component for feasibility confirmation.
  • Understand the purpose / mission / goal / architecture of a MBSE model and exploit its functionalities.
  • Communicate effectively within the team and with other departments within Airbus.

Desired skills and qualifications:


  • Enrolled student (d/f/m) within aeronautics technology or similar field of study.
  • Experience / knowledge or strong interest of the primary structure of an airframe.
  • Experience / knowledge or strong interest of the architectural design of structural components.
  • Experience with the usage of 3D design in CATIA V
  • Good background in structural mechanics.
  • Ideally, first experience with MBSE in combination with some programming skills
  • Material science.
  • Teamwork and close cooperation across organizational boundaries.
  • Passion for aircraft design.
  • Open exchange and cooperation in multicultural teams.
  • Curiosity, creativity and innovative strength.
  • Autonomous and reliable.
  • English and German.
