The Opportunity

Are you someone with excellent problem-solving skills and a passion for technology and a desire to work with the most advanced mobile mapping devices?
\_\_As a Working Student (Hardware) Quality Control, you will have the exciting opportunity to strengthen your skills in the inspection of quality components, sub-assemblies and the final product; as well we participate actively in process improvements in the Quality Control Team.


The Design & Engineering Team that you would join consists of experienced engineers and technicians from diverse professional and cultural backgrounds who share a passion for producing the next generation of cutting-edge mobile mapping devices.

In this role, you will report to the Senior Quality Engineer, and work closely with the Electrical, Mechanical Engineering, and Assembly teams

How you will make an impact

  • You will take ownership of executing operative quality checks for hardware and software components as well as helping establish efficient testing tools and methods
  • You will have the crucial responsibility of keeping quality checks up to date, implementing changes, and supporting the team in constantly improving processes
  • You will collaborate with the assembly team by providing constructive feedback and training peers on quality checks
  • You will ensure open and transparent channels of communication, and report defects, malfunctions, or any other problems to the team in a timely manner
What will help you succeed in the role

  • You are currently pursuing a Bachelors or Masters in mechanical or electrical engineering, engineering management, computer science, or a related field
  • Your basic knowledge of/ experience in Quality tools and Quality control process will enable you to find solutions and improve our internal processes with a fresh perspective
  • Your handson mentality and familiarity in working with electrical and/ or mechanical hardware will strengthen your ability to work with the devices and address issues strategically
  • Your experience with Linux will allow you to successfully navigate the Linuxbased system in our devices
