The company

My partner is an owner-managed, modern company, founded in Stuttgart & currently on the way to digitalization in the e-commerce environment.

You have the opportunity to work with Symfony 6 on a highly complex online store tool that can be used to configure products.

It is similar to the tool where you can configure cabinets at Ikea, for example. The system is so complex because all attributes can be interdependent or, for example, prices depend on various factors.

About the team:

There is a development team of 16 people and this is divided into 4 different sub-teams: Frontend, Admin and DevOps and Backend.

Your team consists of people who live in the Stuttgart area, some of whom only speak English (this is why this position requires english skills) and have a very high quality standard.

The tasks

Architecture and continuous development of the configurator with PHP 8 and Symfony
Clean coding according to coding standards
Testing according to TDD and BDD with, among others, PHPUnit
