Vice President, Brand Sponsorship Consulting

Team and Job Overview


The Vice President will lead account teams across multiple platforms, including a technology client invested across multiple major golf sponsorships which includes a PGA TOUR event title partnership with multiple brand ambassadors.

The Vice President will lead the account team leveraging multiple golf, motorsports, and other sports sponsorship assets to drive B2B and B2C client success.

Experienced sponsorship expert to drive culture, integrations, and support our developing international sponsorship business. Based in CLT as senior lead in local office along with EVP, Consulting.


Essential Job Responsibilities

  • Client & Project Management
  • Serve as senior strategic and planning contact for partnership marketing clients. This includes, but not exclusive to, audience thought leadership and communication strategy development specific to access points
  • Develop and execute asset optimization strategies
  • Oversee technology integration opportunities and proactively engage partners for more opportunity.
  • Analyze and synthesize relevant qualitative and quantitative program data that clearly demonstrates program performance relative to client objectives. This includes, but not limited to, managing team appropriately to develop comprehensive reporting that allows for measurable success from the outset of programs.
  • Interface with client CRM products to build streamlined processes and systems for global activation
  • Financials
  • Understand and be an active participant in maintaining highlevel agency financials (GPM goals, resourcing, ops budgets, staffing, etc.)
  • Build and reconcile projectbased budgets to achieve target profitability and ensure an efficient use of resources
  • Forecast program financials for current program and future growth
  • New Business (external & internal)
  • Lead New Business development from a client services perspective through management of client relationship, client strategy, creative development, sales operations, and budget development
  • Identify and develop business and product opportunities for agency to expand and diversify roster and capabilities

Minimum Qualifications & Competencies

  • Bachelor's degree in marketing, communications, business or a related field
  • 10+ years of related work experience, ideally in sports and lifestyle sponsorship marketing
  • Knowledge of global sports landscape

Preferred Qualifications & Competencies

  • Peoplecentric with outstanding interpersonal, written, and oral communications skills
  • Strong entrepreneurial spirit with the ability to thrive and stay organized in a fast
- paced setting

  • Selfstarter with experience balancing business acumen with creativity
  • Proficient in Microsoft Outlook, Excel, Word, and PowerPoint
  • Experience working with Salesforce, Adobe Creative Suite, and project management tools (Asana, SharePoint, etc.) a plus

Job Requirements

  • Domestic travel around 30%
  • Works onsite at client events

Compensation

Salary Range:
$125,000 - $145,000

SPORTFIVE is providing the compensation range it might pay for this position.

The rate of pay offered will be dependent on the successful applicant's education, experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities in addition to internal equity and geographic location.
