Your Role
As Director Digitalization in Operations, you are responsible for the continuous development and implementation of the global MANN+HUMMEL digitalization strategy in Operations and communicate this within the organization, including reporting to the Executive Board level Steering Committee.
Main Tasks
Leading and developing the global digitalization team consisting of approximately four employees.
Providing global support and coordination to regional and local digitalization representatives and project managers (functional reporting).
Regularly screening and conducting potential analyses of new technologies for Industry 4.0 / digitalization within the company (production, logistics, HSE, quality, manufacturing technology, etc.).
Implementing, enhancing, as well as planning, conceptualizing, and implementing digitalization solutions on a global scale.
Developing and implementing global rollout strategies.
Creating and implementing lighthouse concepts.
Evaluating projects based on their economic value in Operations and their future potential for MANN+HUMMEL.
Integrating digitalization topics into the MANN+HUMMEL production system.

Your Profile

Education: Successfully completed studies in the field of industrial engineering, mechanical engineering, information technology, or logistics.
Work Experience: Minimum of 5 years of professional experience in process optimization within a manufacturing company (preferably automotive), ideally with a focus on digitalization.
Expertise:
Ideally, leadership experience.
Experience in handling production data and technical possibilities of digitalization.
Knowledge of project planning tools.
Confident demeanor and experience in coordinating interdisciplinary and international project teams.
Very good knowledge of MS Office tools.
User knowledge of SAP (MM, PP) is advantageous.
Language Skills: Fluent in English.
