  • Your Role
  • As Director Digitalization in Operations, you are responsible for the continuous development and implementation of the global MANN+HUMMEL digitalization strategy in Operations and communicate this within the organization, including reporting to the Executive Board level Steering Committee.
  • Main Tasks
  • Leading and developing the global digitalization team consisting of approximately four employees.
  • Providing global support and coordination to regional and local digitalization representatives and project managers (functional reporting).
  • Regularly screening and conducting potential analyses of new technologies for Industry 4.0 / digitalization within the company (production, logistics, HSE, quality, manufacturing technology, etc.).
  • Implementing, enhancing, as well as planning, conceptualizing, and implementing digitalization solutions on a global scale.
  • Developing and implementing global rollout strategies.
  • Creating and implementing lighthouse concepts.
  • Evaluating projects based on their economic value in Operations and their future potential for MANN+HUMMEL.
  • Integrating digitalization topics into the MANN+HUMMEL production system.


  • Your Profile

  • Education: Successfully completed studies in the field of industrial engineering, mechanical engineering, information technology, or logistics.
  • Work Experience: Minimum of 5 years of professional experience in process optimization within a manufacturing company (preferably automotive), ideally with a focus on digitalization.
  • Expertise:
  • Ideally, leadership experience.
  • Experience in handling production data and technical possibilities of digitalization.
  • Knowledge of project planning tools.
  • Confident demeanor and experience in coordinating interdisciplinary and international project teams.
  • Very good knowledge of MS Office tools.
  • User knowledge of SAP (MM, PP) is advantageous.
  • Language Skills: Fluent in English.
  • Personality:
  • Structured and processoriented way of working
  • Strong strategic and conceptual abilities.
  • Authoritative and friendly demeanor.
  • Excellent presentation skills.
  • Outstanding communication skills from the shop floor to management.
  • Willingness to undertake regular global business trips.
