For our HQ in Bochum we are looking for a new
Senior Financial Controller (M/F/d).
The Senior Financial Controller is responsible for the conception, implementation and execution of the Group-wide controlling instruments and their individual components.
As a direct report to the CFO (and the second in charge of the finance department), he/she is able to develop a controlling system and according processes matching company needs in a fast growing & rapidly developing environment.
He can meet the demands of our shareholders both professionally and "politically appropriately".# Responsibilities
- Groupwide planning and
budgeting process:
Analyzes of deviations of actual, planned and forecast figures as well as derivation of recommendations for action and discussion with management
Tactical P&L management based on a regular, Group-wide forecast process during the year
- Management
reporting to the management as well as to the Advisory Board and to the shareholders - Further development of overall
processes from conception to execution - Preparation of adhoc reports and analyses
- Support in
strategic projects and special topics as well as active participation in corporate development projects - Participation and support of the other departments in overarching, companywide projects
Continuous improvement and further development of all internal departmental processes and tools using best practice approaches
# Professional qualifications
- Excellent degree in business or economics studies with a focus on
Controlling/Finance or comparable qualification - Longyear
professional experience in Controlling/Finance, ideally with a financial services provider or bank - Very high
analytical skills, affinity for numbers and quality awareness - Independent working style, initiative, and motivation as well as a clear drive for change and
improvement: - Experience in an
international working environment, used to the challenging demands of international shareholders - Confident appearance and sensitivity in dealing with different hierarchical levels, functions, and cultures; Excellent communication and presentation skills
- High team and service orientation
- ITacumen / "at the height of the time", especially regarding
BI tools: - very good
english and
german skills
