THIS IS THE JOB
- You are an Expert for different ECU domains with a broad understanding of automotive networking busses and protocols / protocol stacksYou evaluate technical requests and answer the networking relevant part of RFIs or RFQs
- You support development teams with your expertise to address project needs
- You act as a lead developer in projects teams responsible for the networking part
- You support system and software architects with your knowhow on automotive networking
- You perform software reviews of work done by the project team and give hints for improvements
- You check the market trends / technology scouting / commercial solutions
- You support sales processes, improve the customer's positioning through your expert role and develop sales arguments in your area of expertise
- You validate technical feasibility and technical risk management
- You are responsible for the recognition by Capgemini Engineering and the customer as a knowledge carrier
- You know the test concepts for all 7 layers (OSI reference model) of the networking stacks
- You identify technological and industryrelated developments
THIS IS WHAT WE NEED
- Educational wise, proven software engineering and/or systems engineering background
- Several years of professional experience in automotive field preferably in Automotive sector with specialization on one of the following elements: electronic control unit software development, high performance computer solutions, digital cockpit developments, ADAS, connectivity, epowertrain
- Proven experience related to automotive embedded software development (preferably for OEM/TIER1 projects)
- Proven experience in minimum one of the domains below:
- Cluster instrument
- Invehicle Infotainment
- ADAS
- AUTOSAR (classic/adaptive)
- E-Powertrain
- Knowledge of Automotive software/system architectures
- Deep understanding of automotive busses (Ethernet, CAN, LIN, etc) and protocols (e.g. SOME/IP, IEEE 801.11, AVB, TSN, OEM/TIER1 specific protocols
- Experience with commercial tools to analyze networking protocols (e.g. Vector)
- Experienced in coaching project teams
- Must able to work alone with minimum guidance, but also be able to operate effectively as part of a team
- Enjoys working independently, focused and proactive in a highly team and clientoriented environment
- Enthusiastic, flexible and keen approach to learning, etc.
- Structured individual with good problemsolving skills
- Comfortable in customer facing role, confident and thoughtful
- Ability to see the bigger picture but have a passion for details where it matters (out of the box thinking)
- Excellent communication skills: mandatory C1 or equivalent English
