Duties:


  • Evaluates requirements, policies, and regulations which may aid or impede proposed solutions and gains ODCSINT staff consensus on suggested optimal courses of action.
  • Prepares staff papers, memoranda, and messages for general officer decisions.
  • Performs research and maintains files and data bases in support of USAREUR-AF G2X and international intelligence exchange mission.

  • Two year trial/probationary period may be required.
  • In accordance with Change 3 to AR 60085, Alcohol and Drug Abuse Prevention and Control Program, individual must successfully pass a urinalysis screening for illegal drug use prior to appointment and periodically thereafter.
  • Must be able to obtain and maintain a TOP SECRET (TS) security clearance with eligibility for Sensitive Compartmented Information (SCI) based on a T5 (or equivalent) investigation.
  • Requires Temporary Duty (TDY) travel up to 20% of the time.

  • To qualify based on your experience, your resume must describe at least one year of experience equivalent to the GG/GS[09] that prepared you to do this job. Specialize experience is defined and experience which includes experience with Counterintelligence (CI) or multi disciplined intelligence analysis, collections and/or reporting. This definition of specialize experience is typical of work performed at the next lower grade/level in the Federal service.
  • Progressively responsible experience is that which has included intelligencerelated research, analysis, collections and /or operations. This experience should have included intelligence analysis and/or production, intelligence collection and/or operations, counterintelligence, or threat support directly related to the position to be filled.

This experience should demonstrate:

Knowledge of intelligence processes, cycle, and organizations; Knowledge of and/or ability to use research tools such as library holdings, photographs, statistics, graphics, and maps; Knowledge of the systems, procedures, and methods of analyzing, compiling, reporting, and disseminating intelligence data; and/or Knowledge of organization(s) for and methods of collecting and analyzing intelligence data.

D.

or equivalent doctoral degree or 3 full years of progressively higher-level graduate education leading to such a degree or LL.M.

in a field which demonstrates the knowledge, skills, and abilities necessary to do the work of the position, such as Political Science, Law, History, or Engineering.

  • Combination of Education and Experience: A combination of education and experience may be used to qualify for this position as long as the computed percentage of the requirements is at least 100%. To compute the percentage of the requirements, divide your total months of experience by 12. Then divide the total number of completed graduate semester hours (or equivalent) beyond the second year (total graduate semester hours minus 36) by 18. Add the two percentages.
