About the Role:

In the Test Solutions Lead role you will be responsible for defining and implementing overall test strategy for system and software requirements, architecture and design, test case design and execution through effective automation, simulation and CI/CD (Continuous Integration and Delivery ) approach.

This role will have direct responsibility to drive strategy and execution.

The person who will be most successful in this position has a good understanding of embedded testing and excellent communication skills with global teams.

What You Will Do:

Provide Technical leadership for the complete project test team.
Responsible for preparation of the project test strategy along with the team covering the system context, test environment and topology, test design and test execution approach, coverage of software integration and qualification, system integration and qualification and related aspects.
Work closely with the Requirements, system and software Architecture team to ensure that testability and other non functional quality characteristics are builtin into the system
Develop Test solutions for HIL, SIL, MIL testing.
Participate actively in the requirements, architecture and design workshops
Analyze technical requirements, form testing strategies, and create detailed test cases and procedures.
Supports engineering personnel through coaching, planning, monitoring, and appraising of job performance.
Work closely with the Project test leads for execution of project goals
Lead initiatives as a member of the Test Engineering team to improve process, investigate and qualify tools, develop techniques to benefit future projects
Responsible for ensuring that the Test design techniques are effectively used in the system
Responsible for driving the team towards the ideal Test Pyramid (UT, IT, FT, Non Functional Test) and the different types of testing
Responsible for the Test Suite management and Test Suite Organization
Responsible for the using the organization level Automation test framework and adapting it to the context of the project.
Responsible for the defining the System under Test (SUT) Automation Architecture and Solution.
Responsible for driving the requirements workshop and Architecture & Design workshop from perspective of Testability and other quality characteristics of the system
Responsible for the quality of the Test automation scripts /code through effective code review practices and peer review.
Responsible for ensuring the test cases are integrated into the various stages of the build pipeline as part of Continuous integration and continuous delivery approach.
Responsible for defining and implementing effective test execution strategy and exit criteria.
Ensure that Hardware in loop, software in loop and module in loop testing is followed, as applicable.
Ensure that the team uses effective simulation testing approach.
Ensure that the incremental test design and test execution approach is followed in the team.
Work in close collaboration with the Architects, Testers and Developers.
Work closely with the project team as part of the SCRUM team organization and follow the agile way of working.

What You Need:

5+ years of experience leading medium sized engineering/software development organizations.
Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Computer Science or equivalent.
Strong knowledge on the Domain.
Experience leading a matrix organization and managing technology development budgets.
Proven ability to coach technical leaders.
Command of problem solving, organizational effectiveness, interpersonal, and communication skills.
Experience delivering embedded systems or system testing for automotive systems.
Knowledge of process models (e.g. Automotive SPICE), regarding verification and validation process areas
Experience of risk management (risk based testing)
15+ years related technical experience.
68 years of experience in Software Test
35 years of experience in C#, C and Python.
Good experience in Git, Gerrit and Jenkins
Good knowledge in Linux.
