Tasks

You are fluent in YAML and do helmet charts form part of your daily reading? Solving tasks in a team is as natural to you as the Puppet dry run before the "git commit"? In exceptional situations, a cluster that has run out of RAM doesn't upset you any more than a load balancer that can no longer reach 4 out of 5 nodes? Prometheus is more than a part of Greek mythology to you and you know how to pronounce k8s?

If you can answer some of these questions with "yes" and a strong team is just as important to you as structured work, then we look forward to hearing from you.

In this position you can expect the following tasks:

You plan, install and maintain clusters with Puppet or write Helm charts for our Kubernetes systems
You are the contact person for the development teams, as well as the interface to the rest of the company's IT.
In close cooperation with the developers, you create crossteam error analyses and thus ensure the further development of operations.
You accompany projects from conception through all phases of the lifecycle. As a result, you will be significantly involved in strategic decisionmaking processes.

Qualifications:

Studies, training or career changer? That doesn't matter to us. You are a team player who enjoys working in a cross-functional team. You are confident in working with Puppet and already have knowledge of Kubernetes, Helm and Docker.

You also meet the following requirements:

You keep a cool head even in the event of a malfunction and work on your tasks in a solutionorientated manner.
You prefer to work independently and in a structured manner and always involve your team.
You are a strong communicator in German and English, fluent in spoken and written.
You are sociable and quickly build up a network of good contacts in order to have the right contact person for all challenges.
