Scientific Environment


The professorship belongs to the TUM Department of Informatics and in the future to the TUM School of Computation, Information & Technology.


Responsibilities
The responsibilities include research and teaching as well as the promotion of early-career scientists.

We seek to appoint an expert in one or more of the following areas related to Operating Systems:


  • Modern and future hardware: postMoore era systems, heterogeneous computecapable devices, future computer technologies (e.g. quantum computing)
  • System design and deployment in the context of embedded systems and data centers
