Lead, direct, and control legal activities to protect the organization's reputation and business interests and ensure it complies with all relevant laws and regulations for business operations at the country or local business unit level.


  • Advise the local management on all legal matters and the potential impact of current and future laws and regulations on the organization.
  • Evaluate the organization's activities, policies, practices, and transactions to ensure they comply with all relevant local laws and regulations.
  • Contribute to strategic planning and decisionmaking at the local executive level to develop and implement a legal strategy that aligns with the organization's vision and business objectives.
  • Oversee legal defense actions and represent the organization in matters before courts, government agencies, or other authorities to protect the organization's legal and business interests.
  • Prepare materials for external legal counsel and manage these relationships to ensure the organization's interests are wellrepresented.
  • Lead, direct, evaluate, and develop professional legal staff and external advisory service providers to ensure the organization's legal activities are conducted accurately, ethically and according to established guidelines.
For commercial councelation

  • Supervises a team of profesisonals to ensure the contract management activities
  • Analyses and comments on tenders, contracts and contract related documents and gives proactive advice.
  • Might participate in contract negotiations and in formulation/implementation of negotiation strategy.
  • Ensures Project Execution coordinating a staff of profesionals.
  • Ensure adherence to internal standards and compliance with external regulations.
  • Develops, implements and regularly reviews the claim strategy with regards to customers, subsuppliers and partners together with project management.
  • Captures internal data and prepares presentations and analyses.
  • Contributes to standardization of contracts and improvement processes.
