Your new area of responsibility - challenging and future-oriented

You lead the Mechanical Design department and are responsible for the onschedule, budget, production and quality design of our SIMATIC products, in compliance with current standards and drive innovative solutions
Your area of responsibility also includes the main topics of mechanics, PCB, material & sustainability (Robust Eco Design) in the entire PLM process
You confidently use design and verification of global marketable technologies and product solutions
You are very well networked with your design locations nationally and internationally
You use the latest CAx, simulation and EDM tools and are always up to date with the latest technology
Furthermore, you work intensively with the production sites worldwide, as well as with national and international suppliers and with the internal purchasing and quality departments
In your projects, you maintain an open error culture. In this, possibilities are systematically identified and implemented. Conducting cyclical lessons learned/best practices is your responsibility
You continuously drive improvement and productivity within your own area and crossfunctionally

Your qualifications - well-founded and adequate

You have successfully completed a degree in one of the following fields: mechatronics, precision engineering or mechanical engineering
In addition, you have many years of professional experience in the field of development / design / production of industrial electronic products, preferably from the SIMATIC product environment
Furthermore, you have many years of experience in the technical and disciplinary management of national and international project teams, including budget responsibility
Personally, you convince with your communication skills, creativity, initiative and structured way of working
You are committed, have a strong strategic thinking and show a high ability to learn
A strong sense of responsibility and an entrepreneurial approach round off your profile
