Your Job

Are you passionate about digital sales and creating a superior customer experience? Then we are looking for you to join our Molex team in our Walldorf office.

In our Sales Development Representative (M/F/d) role you will seek to understand the customer needs and offer appropriate Molex products/solutions to meet these requirements.

You will have the opportunity to promote and sell our products to drive profitable growth within your assigned market in Central Europe.

This is an office-based role with option of home office - travel requirement around 15%.

With their technical knowledge, strong negotiation, and interpersonal skills, they work together with innovative customers from startups to established OEMs to design the electronic devices of the future.


What You Will Do

  • Drive profitable growth within a defined territory or market
  • Manage and maintain individual pipeline
  • Support with complex Request for Quotations (RFQs) and pricing negotiations
  • Resolve conflicts and provide solutions to customers
  • Develop new and innovative ideas that enhance the customer's experience
  • Capture and fulfill both technical and commercial customer requirements in collaboration with multiple Business Units
  • Work with lead generation and marketing teams to understand and nurture leads through multiple digital and social media channels
  • Work handinhand with our customers to understand their needs, challenges, and growth opportunities and collaborate with them to develop and deliver a customized growth strategy

Who You Are (Basic Qualifications)

  • Excellent selling, communication and negotiation skills
  • Fluent communication skills in English and German
  • Openminded towards digital sales tactics to grow business (i.e., digital marketing and social media)
  • Comfortable with using modern communication technology to develop and perform presentations and demos virtually and thinking in a creative, nonlinear fashion
  • Strategic thinker with strong interpersonal skills to work effectively in a team and engage customers
  • Technical understanding to be able to advise our customers

What Will Put You Ahead

  • University degree in business administration, sales or in a technical field (electronics, mechatronics or similar)
  • Experience working in the electronics industry
  • Experience working with or for a distribution network
