Job Description

We are looking for a creative Art Director (M/F/d) who, together with our consultants, will be in charge of various client projects - from the first client briefing to the implementation.

As a (Junior) Art Director at RCKT, you will be responsible for understanding our visual signature and further shaping it with new creative ideas and sophisticated designs.

Moreover, you have a strong hands-on attitude and feel responsible for executing design ideas.

Your mission

You challenge client briefings to bring the quality of the project to the next level with your creativity and solid design background.
You build relationships with our clients and actively participate in meetings.
You advise our consultants in all questions regarding visual design while you don't lose sight of the project goal.
You create designs from concept to execution, independently or with the help of Senior Art Directors.
You support pitch teams in visual design and actively contribute different ideas with compelling visual proposals.
You know who is responsible for which tasks in the team and can delegate effectively.
You are a sparring partner for senior art directors, but can also guide less experienced team members independently.
Even under time pressure, you don't lose sight of which tasks have priority.
You follow the latest trends and actively share your knowledge with the team.

Profile:

You are experienced in client communication and you have excellent presentation skills.
You have also been able to demonstrate your skills in pitch presentations.
You have a handson attitude and are ready to execute design ideas flawlessly.
You have a very good understanding of design briefings, communicate your ideas and come up with design solutions that clearly show them to the team as well as to clients.
You are experienced and versatile with different kinds of design projects (websites, campaigns, brand identity).
You have a strong sense of design, aesthetics and the latest trends.
With the support of senior art directors, you are able to develop visual systems and identities on a strategic basis.
You have a good understanding of both print and digital production and have no difficulty creating mockups.
Ideally, you're interested in type design and UX/UI design.
Ideally, you have a welldeveloped network of contacts with illustrators, photographers, etc.
Very good English and German is a plus.
