We have an exciting opportunity for you to join our team as a Vehicle Maintenance Technician-Advanced (M/F/d).

What you will be doing:


  • Launch and execute monthly preventative maintenance repair/work orders as per global maintenance system planning for GSE and material handling equipment
  • Create curative repair/work orders for curative maintenance and execute work for GSE and material handling equipment
  • Launch regulatory inspections as per legal requirements whatever on GSE and material handling equipment as well as on workshop equipment
  • Logging maintenance carried out on each asset and maintaining both system and physical records.
  • Order works to vendors when applicable and check proper execution
  • Collect and sign worksheets from vendors and encode accordingly in global maintenance system
  • Check invoices are correct for further approval by manager
  • Order spare parts when necessary, store and register accordingly
  • Ensure to keep workshop in good and safe condition and work safely at all times
  • Troubleshoot GSE equipment when failure disturbs operations, ensure to remove faulty equipment
  • Ensure delivery and assembly of new assets and update global maintenance system accordingly
  • Identify cost saving opportunities
  • Report identified defects for analysis and further equipment improvement
  • Keep a great collaboration with internal customers and communicate in a solution oriented manner

  • Good technical knowledge in mechanics, hydraulics and basic electricity

  • Computer literacy and ability to easily use specific systems

  • Excellent communication skills in German and good communication skills in English
