Your Responsibilities in Detail
- Lead, mentor and develop the team of 10+ accounting professionals
- Oversee accounting operations across all EU locations and entities (30+ entities)
- Review and analyze accounting data and produce statutory financial statements for standalone entities in accordance with local GAAP (primarily, German GAAP)
- Contribute to the rollout of NetSuite ERP across the group of companies and newly acquired entities, and drive automation across Accounting processes
- Coordinate work relating to external annual audits
- Partner with business stakeholders across the organization and add value to strategic initiatives, such as legal entity rationalization
- Be a part of M&A activities and postmerger integration
- Constantly seek for improvement opportunities and drive changes
Your Background
To join our team, you bring along
- Vast experience in Accounting, with significant years people management experience
- A minimum of a Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance or a related field
- Significant experience in senior accounting roles, preferably within multinational corporations
- Big4 experience is preferred
- Strong technical knowledge of German GAAP (HGB)
- Experience with accounting software, with a preference for those familiar with NetSuite
- Excellent communication and leadership skills are mandatory
- Fluent German and English
