YOUR TEAM:

The
E3 1.2 is one of the three main products developed by CARIAD and currently the one with the biggest focus in the whole VW group.

It is an end-to-end electronic architecture that is especially developed for premium platform-based cars (Porsche, Audi, Bentley, Scout, Lamborghini).

The E3 1.2 is a fully integrated software system on several ECUs that is developed by more than 1500 internal employees and several suppliers.

The project steering behind this architecture is done by
X2 - equivalent to the vehicle series from the automotive brands (Baureihen).

It cross-links all involved and developing areas, controls cooperation and ensures optimal processes.
Within the project steering X2, there are five interfaces to the software and hardware developing areas
:Vehicle Motion and Energy (powertrain, chassis and energy related functionalities),
Body (development of a standardized platform under the terms Climate Control, Health Application, Light
- and Body Functions),
Infotainment, ADAS / AD and also
Gateway / Connect / Backend (OTA, cloud, VW:os, data platform, connectivity topics).

WHAT YOU WILL DO:

Technical project management for X2 with suppliers, OEMs (mostly Audi and Porsche) and the Taskforce E3 1.2 Premium.
Communication and conflict resolution with the whole team of the developing area (managers, function owners, product owners and BTVs (component responsibles)
Planning, controlling and tracking of X2 related goals (costs, deadlines, technology and quality)
Escalation to the Head of X2 as well as recommendation and execution of countermeasures
Representation of the interests of X2 in CARIAD and brand committees
Regular onsite participation in vehicle testing activities (mostly in Ingolstadt and Hemmingen)

WHO YOU ARE:

Successfully completed degree in the field of Computer Sciences, Engineering, Physics engineering or a comparable course of studies
Experienced in software or hardware development, with previous employment in the OEM or TIER1 with at least +7 years of experience in the automotive project management
Professional experience in at least one of the following five developing areas: Vehicle Motion and Energy; Body; Infotainment; ADAS / AD or Gateway / Connect / Backend and / or knowledge of the E3 1.2 ECUs (HCP1, HCP2, HCP3, HCP4)
Expert in proccessing new information, understand highly complex correlations, and are able to bring them to an abstract level
Strong team player with above average communication and negotiating skills
Handson mindset plus a balanced work ethic between independence and collaboration
Fluent in German and English
