Edwards Lifesciences is searching for Training Equipment Specialist/Technician responsible for maintenance of simulators used during trainings including assuring/ordering logistic of these devices to locations where these training are held.


Job location:
Munich - Garching ( Parkring - Garching).

Office based job - regular presence in Garching requested, travelling only seldom time (installing simulators by big trainings in Nyon or big congresses in Europe).

Key Responsibilities:

Provide logistics support including ship items for training managers within internal and external programs
Manage training material, simulator inventory and arrange maintenance when required
Set up and, trouble shoot physiological models, simulator and educational tools
Attend congress to support the setup, maintainers and dismantle of the training tools
Other incidental duties


Education and Experience:

Technical Diploma ( Berufsausbildung) in Technical Degree or equivalent required or Biomedical Engineering Degree
German fluent and advanced English
Willingness to travel (max. 10 %, travelling to Nyon Switzerland or to big congresses in Europe)


Additional Skills:

Good computer skills including usage of Microsoft Office Suite
Good written and verbal communication skills and interpersonal relationship skill
Moderate understanding of physiological models and related equipment and training tools
Ability to perform basic troubleshooting and identify problems and relevant issues in straightforward situations, assessing using standard procedures
Ability to read and understand procedures, drawings, schematics and carry out basic instructions
Strict attention to detail and team player
Adhere to all company rules and requirements (e.g., pandemic protocols, Environmental Health & Safety rules) and take adequate control measures in preventing injuries to themselves and others as well as to the protection of environment and prevention of pollution under their span of influence/control
