YOUR FUTURE ROLE

Within the corporate sustainability team, the Sustainability Specialist actively contributes to the success of SAP's Total Impact Management Ambition and the management of key ethical programs like Trustworthy Artificial Intelligence.

This requires a strong focus on the goal-oriented execution of project activities and relationship building with key stakeholders to facilitate the implementation of Total Impact Management at SAP.

In order to ensure that our Artificial Intelligence offerings are trustworthy and responsible, the Sustainability Specialist will support the Governance efforts.

Expectations and Tasks:

Work with relevant Lines of Business and corresponding stakeholders to implement impact management methodologies by educating them, establishing data collection and management processes, creating impactful presentations etc.
Collaborate with other teams and initiatives that also contribute to understanding and managing SAP's Total Impact on the environment, society and economy
Research and engage external experts to develop the bestinclass Governance processes to ensure that SAP's Artificial Intelligence offerings are responsible and trustworthy
Support in operationalizing the AI Ethics Governance structures like the Advisory Board, Steering, Policy updates etc.
Contribute to AI Ethics community and participate in the relevant workstreams to improve processes and assets to support the key stakeholders

YOUR PROFILE

University degree, preferably Masters (preferred fields of study: sustainability management, technology impact & social responsibility, business informatics, impact management)
First working experience, preferably in sustainability related areas
Excellent and fluent English skills, both written and spoken
Excellent German skills, both written and spoken
Sensitivity towards the role of technology and its impact on society
Very good analytical skills
Good project management skills
Proactive, flexible, collaborative working style and eager to learn
Intercultural sensitivity and ability to influencing without authority
