TASKS

  • Develop, assess and align strategies that aim to embed digital products and services in existing products or supplement and expand current and planned Knorr-Bremse product offering
  • Identify startups and scaleups and initiate partnerships that support the execution of developed strategies
  • Trigger, lead and coordinate innovation activities between Knorr-Bremse organizations in North America, Europe and APAC
  • Define and drive ideation activities and facilitate regular digital innovation proposals
  • Identify & analyze technology, market & digital trends through foresight activities
  • Plan, initiate & coordinate incubation & technology scouting activities

REQUIREMENTS

  • Master's degree or comparable in engineering, computer science or natural science
  • 5 years of relevant professional experience in the digital area
  • Experience with lean startup business mentality (design thinking, scrum / agile processes)
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to act as a link & translator between technical and business functions across hierarchies.
  • Good command of German and very good command of English in written and spoken language
  • Strong problemsolving and critical thinking skills
  • Skilled at simplifying complexity and developing scalable propositions
  • General affinity for technology and willingness to learn about the road transport and commercial vehicle industry
  • Entrepreneurial mindset and working style
