  • ANDRITZ Küsters, located in Krefeld with around 280 employees, has been a part of the ANDRITZ Group since 2006 and is one of the leading providers of high quality and technically challenging system solutions in the areas of paper machines and nonwovens production.
We are looking for a decisive leader with strong negotiation skills and the ability to implement organizational transformations.

We see the challenge in the future orientation of the purchasing organization as well as the optimization and automation of the operative purchasing processes.


Main tasks:


  • Manage and further develop the Strategic Purchasing, Operative Purchasing, Logistics and Export & Shipping teams
  • Responsible for planning, management and control of processes and projects in Supply Chain Management
  • Disciplinary management of the assigned staff in Krefeld
  • Management of external shared services
  • Develop and implement international supply chain strategies
  • Optimize processes and methods to improve our delivery times, ontimeperformance as well as purchase prices
  • Competence development of purchasing in plant construction and project purchasing
  • Optimize working capital through efficient inventory strategies and processes
  • Negotiate and interact with strategic suppliers
  • Plan, manage and control the annual cost center budget
  • Conduct trainings for the continuous development of the supply chain teams
  • Very close cooperation with the Sales, Project Management, Engineering and Manufacturing

You have the following qualifications, experience, and skills:

  • Successfully completed studies in economics or industrial engineering
  • International leadership experience in a comparable position, preferably in the paper, têxtile or nonwovens industry
  • Indepth knowledge of plant engineering and project purchasing
  • Knowhow in value stream analyses, TCO calculations and expediting
  • User knowledge of SAP and MS Office
  • Very good technical and contractual understanding
  • Strong analytical and negotiation skills
  • Selfconfident appearance and goal orientation
  • Fluent written and spoken English
  • Knowledge of other foreign languages would be an advantage
