About the role

:

The European Regional Senior Marketing Director
is responsible for Hach's Marketing initiatives and campaigns in EU. The successful Director will lead the development of the EU growth strategy and partner with EU Sales and Service leaders to drive disciplined execution of commercial growth initiatives, including product launches and regional campaigns. This position reports to the P&L leader for Hach's European business.

Ensure the team is doing the right things (focusing on the critical few) and doing things right (leveraging DBS and best-demonstrated practices)

Commercial Strategy & Execution

Lead annual commercial planning process to develop cross-functional, vertical market growth plans for Europe that are tailored to the regional language and cultural differences.

Develop strategies for the continued growth of the core business, market expansion, new product launches, competitive response, and channel mix.

:

Drive strategic marketing mix to meet digital lead generation and eCommerce revenue targets.

:

Enhance Hach's brand and thought leadership position with regional regulatory agencies, trade associations, industry partners and influential customers.

Are you qualified?

:

-
10+ years with relevant senior-level experience in Marketing or Product Management with experience leading a regional marketing team, preferably in Europe

:

-
Must have a high level of strategic agility, excellent decision-making and problem-solving skills, and demonstrated abilities to drive innovation.

:

-
Significant experience with financial modeling and business case development as well as with KPI measurement and analytics.

Has a solid understanding of the Europe water quality market: products, players, technologies, and contacts

Understands the complexity of business needs and decision drivers within an organization. Must be able to consider available facts, constraints, competitive circumstances and probable consequences and distill these into actionable recommendations.

Examples of delivering results and driving strategic leadership within large-scale organizations.

High level of cultural sensitivity and awareness to lead a global organization, while also engaging effectively across an experienced global cross-functional team.
