As the
Commercial Governance Lead (M/F/d) you will hold the commercial organization to account for successfully delivering its governance responsibilities through oversight, challenge and the provision of insightful analytics on commercial practices.

In addition, you will lead and support the commercial organization in the following:

  • To drive the quality of governance and compliance adherence in high-risk areas
  • To provide clear line of sight of above risks to DLT, flagging potential gaps and consistent themes (individuals/process related)
  • To hold Business Owners to account for execution of Management Monitoring
  • To support the embedding of a valuesbased organization, driving a culture of compliance to minimize deviations
  • To identify gaps in processes or capabilities and look for solutions, enabling a learning culture

Key Responsibilities
This role will provide the opportunity to lead key activities to progress your career.

These responsibilities include some of the following:

  • Implement the role of Commercial Governance into the commercial organisation in close cooperation with existing governance functions (esp. compliance and medical quality) and leadership teams with a focus on key risks and business needs
  • Champion commercial governance within the commercial teams, field and office as well as across the wider business, interfacing with stakeholders across the organization (e.g., medical, legal, compliance, tech)
  • Build effective working relationships across the organization, with appropriate levels of challenge and straight talk.
  • Become an expert on FSA Code/GSK commerical practice processes and be a point of contact for the escalation of issues.
  • Ensure compliance with GSK Code of Practice and applicable local regulations such as FSA throughout the commercial organization.
  • Share learnings with wider business and drive Commercial Practices input to enable effective RMCBs and decision making.
  • Act as Risk Owner delegate for Commercial Practices risk across the commercial organization and lead risk deep dives in support of the annual GM sign off in partnership with the compliance team.
  • Drive accountability and clear decision making through the commercial organisation. Embed organisational learning through governance champions and insights from deviations.
  • Identify themes and trends arising from locally identified & managed CAPAs (e.g. deviations).
  • Work with the appropriate business owners to ensure German Commercial written standards are reviewed and updated as needed and reflect global requirements.
  • Ensure the commercial organization is audit ready and provide support to the preparation and provision of documentation related to IBM and audits.
  • Bring best practices from other markets and assess appropriateness for adoption in Commercial.

What are we looking for?

  • Bachelor's Degree (or equivalent)
  • A proven background working within compliance and audit.
  • Must possess an excellent working knowledge of the pharmaceutical industry and ideally a
- good working knowledge of the relevant therapy area and market.

  • Working knowledge of the main legal and industry frameworks that govern the German pharmaceutical industry
  • Must display excellent organizational/project management skills and must have a proven
- track record of working on one's own initiative

  • Proven ability to lead
- cross internal functional teams.

  • Must demonstrate a proven track record of success as a team player and demonstrate a strong analytical track record.
  • Must be native or fluent German speaker

Preferred experience:

If you possess the following in addition to the above, it would be a plus:

  • Breadth of exposure to commercial practices across the business
  • Understanding of the different commercial functions within the business to enable practical solutions for the business.
