Siemens Energy Graduate Program - Commercial Project Management:

What You Can Expect

Over the course of two years, you'll get hands-on experience, be actively integrated into the day-to-day activities of your teams and gain a deep understanding of Siemens Energy.

You'll rapidly build in-depth knowledge, discover solutions, and experience our business first-hand.

From day one, you will work on meaningful projects with three individually designed assignments, including one eight-month assignment abroad.

You will be assigned a mentor and will shadow a role or position to support you in reaching your individual career goals and network with peers and business leaders.

You'll also have access to the resources to help you grow.

As part of the dynamic Siemens Energy Commercial Project Management team, you support the commercial project manager to make important decisions every day helping the project as well as the customer to reach their goals - energizing the world by implementing our innovative solutions and products within the calculated budget.

During the program, you learn all phases and relevant skills of project management.

How You'll Make an Impact
As part of our Graduate Program, you are on the Siemens Energy team.

You'll share our purpose in energizing society by supporting customers with transitioning to a more sustainable world and will work on real global issues, creating solutions that directly make an impact.

Oversee the financial performance of projects and provide insights and commercial/financial analyses
Partner with the project managers to develop and analyze project business data and drive decision making and customer negotiation (e.g. revenue/cost analysis, risk/opportunity analysis, business result optimization)
Ensure accuracy of project books and records and prepare commercial documentation for regular project status meetings
Streamline and improve the structures and business processes to ensure effective communication and collaboration with different stakeholders
Grow into a financial expert within the project management team ensuring the implementation of Siemens financial guidelines as well as compliance with local accounting principles & tax regulations

What You Bring

Strong commercial aptitude and the ability to connect data to business
Understanding of IFRS, PRC GAAP and the difference between them
Significant practical work experience up to 36 months including knowledge from internships, working student activities or employment
A master's degree, doctoral degree, or equivalent in business administration/management, economics or similar
Minimum of 3 months of international experience gained through studying or working
Excellent English skills to work in a multicultural environment and be flexible and mobile during the program, German is a plus

Gas Services

Our Gas Services division offers Lowemission power generation through service and decarbonization. Zero or low emission power generation and all gas turbines under one roof, steam turbines and generators. Decarbonization opportunities through service offerings, modernization, and digitalization of the fleet.
