The team "System Integration Rigs" at Airbus Defence and Space in Manching, Germany is looking for a

Mechanical Detailed Designer (d/M/F):

The department "System Integration Rigs" is responsible for the Avionics, Flight Control and Hydraulics test equipment which are used for Qualification and Certification of the different fighter aircraft systems.

An Electrical Detailed Designer has the focus on the construction of electrical assemblies using Mentor Capital to design the test components, including the creation of the necessary documentation in form of drawings and also the constructive support through production.

This role is also available with reduced weekly hours and an adapted scope of tasks.

Your tasks and responsibilities

Design/selection of electrical parts, components and assemblies, including interfaces and technical boundary conditions
Ensuring the functional requirements at component level
Implementation of installation space investigations
Production support, including evaluation of proposed changes
Maintenance of the component library for Mentor Capital and also support during introduction of new databases and tools

Desired skills and qualifications

Successfully completed studies (Bachelor's or Master's degree) in Electrical Engineering or a comparable vocational education following by several years of relevant professional experience
Very good knowledge of Mentor Capital or knowledge of an equivalent tool
Basic knowledge in the field of construction of test systems or comparable
Basic knowledge in the field of configuration management
A very good command of the German language, as well as a good command of the English language in a written and spoken level

This position will require a security clearance or will require being eligible for clearance by the recognized authorities.
