Your mission:

We are seeking a visionary VP to join our executive team and help drive our financial strategy forward.

As the Head of Accounting and financial reporting, you will be a key member of the executive leadership team, reporting directly to the CFO.

You will be responsible for leading the financial operations of the company. This role requires you to have a good understanding of Direct and indirect Tax, VAT, IFRS, consolidation & compliance with local and international financial regulations

Location:
Germany

This role has a high degree of built-in decision-making and accountability.

You'll get a chance to shape the company's direction, paving the way for the largest AI-powered Drug Assets Manager. We are looking for team players who "dare to care"

Your Responsibilities:

Handling overall Accounting function, including review of book of accounts, monthend closure procedures and balance sheet preparation.
Handle responsibility for P&L and VAT Filing
Lead Audit procedures and ensure successful audit for the group
Manage consolidation and work with an international team
Allocate cost to business divisions and present Cost accounting reports to stakeholders
Oversee taxrelated matters, including preparation and filing of tax returns, and optimize tax strategies to minimize liabilities.
Manage relationships and communication with an internal team
Conduct financial analysis, provide meaningful insights into financial performance, and support key stakeholders with datadriven decisionmaking.
Manage the preparation of accurate and timely financial statements in accordance with local and international accounting standards.

Your profile:

Bachelor's / Master's Degree preferably in finance, accounting, or a related field
9+ years of progressive experience in planning, managing, and leading teams.
Proven experience in a similar executivelevel financial role
Proven experience in leading and managing a finance and accounting team.
Excellent understanding of financial regulations and compliance requirements in Germany.
Indepth knowledge of financial regulations, compliance, and reporting like German GAAP, IFRS etc.
Strong communication and presentation abilities.
Experienced with Microsoft Excel and financial software and ERPs like Microsoft Dynamics etc.
English is mandatory, German would be a plus.
