Business Development Manager for the D/A/CH region (M/F/D)

Reporting and Location


The Business Development Manager reports to the Head of Europe Hospitality and will be a member of the Management Team Germany.

The position is based in Wiesbaden, Germany.


_Job Description_

Responsibilities

  • Market Analysis: Conduct indepth market research to identify emerging trends, customer needs, and competitive intelligence.
  • Business Strategy: Develop and execute a comprehensive business development strategy that aligns with the company's technical capabilities and growth objectives.
  • Client Engagement: Build and maintain strong relationships with existing clients while identifying and targeting potential clients to expand our customer base.
  • Technical Expertise: Demonstrate a deep understanding of our technical products and services to effectively communicate their value to clients and partners.
  • Collaboration: Collaborate closely with crossfunctional teams, including product development, marketing, and sales, to ensure seamless execution of business development initiatives.
  • Negotiation: Lead contract negotiations and close deals with clients and partners, ensuring mutually beneficial agreements.
  • Revenue Growth: Meet and exceed sales targets and revenue goals by driving new business and expanding existing accounts.
  • Reporting: Prepare regular reports and updates on business development progress and key performance indicators for the executive team.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in business, engineering, or a related field (Master's degree preferred).
  • Proven track record of at least 5 years in technical business development or related roles.
  • Strong understanding of technical solutions, products and services.
  • Exceptional communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
  • Demonstrated ability to build and maintain client relationships.
  • Strategic thinker with a resultsoriented mindset.

  • Ability to work both within a defined structure as well as independently

  • Must possess strong and effective presentation and communication skills, whether oneonone, in public settings, or via written.
  • Demonstrable motivation and influencing skills
  • PC and systems literate with ERP/CRM exposure a plus
