As a Technical Writer, you will collaboratively work with our Munich-based product development team consisting of software developers, QA, and product specialists to deliver Goodly's AR solution
Specifically, this includes:
- Ownership of all product documentation and documentationrelated issues.
- Design, write and edit product documentation with the goal of adequate recording and traceability of product changes, and attention to accuracy, relevance, and adherence to document control and change management procedures.
- Taking care of the documentation of all steps of the product development life cycle like installation, deployment, and training procedures.
- Establishing and advocating for good documentation practices.
- Participating in content creation, fostering knowledge capture and transfer.
- Continuously monitoring and improving software in terms of editing, style, relevancy, and consistency of language used inside software as well as in supporting documentation.
As Technical Writer, you'll need to have:
- Proficiency in your technical writing style due to more than 3 years of technical writing experience
- Knowledge of publishing norms
- Proficiency in Microsoft Word (for now)
- Proficiency in effective documentation workflows
- Proficiency in written and spoken English skills
- Proficiency in gathering information through interviews, using our software, and consultations
- Residence in the Munich area and hold a valid work permit (Blue Card)
Even better if you have:
- Experience in writing documentation and manuals for complex software.
- Experience in writing documentation and manuals for AR products.
- Experience in writing and maintaining HTMLbased online manuals.
- Knowledge of Good Documentation Practices (GDPs).
- Experience in working with one or more document management systems.
- Knowledge of documentation internationalization, localization, and translation.
- Experience in working in GMP (GxP) regulated environments.
- German language skills
