Product Specialist and Application Development (M/F/d). You will support of the Applications and Sales Teams in the area of Light-Sheet Microscopy and support of the R&D Teams for product development in the area of high-end fluorescence microscopy.


Aufgaben/Verantwortlichkeiten:

Product Specialist:
Support of the Applications and Sales Teams in the area of Light-Sheet Microscopy
:

  • Generate spec sheets and product specifications etc. in the area of light-sheet microscopy, especially for software to operate microscope systems as well as to process, analyze and further handle and manage multidimensional imagery
  • Coordinate exchange between Applications, Sales and R&D Teams
  • Support activities in the area of Marketing Communications for lightsheet microscopy

Application Development:
Participation in and support of the R&D Teams for product development in the area of high-end fluorescence microscopy
:

  • Develop Product Applications (use cases as well as software) for light-sheet and other high-end microscopy solutions and technologies
  • Collaborate with R&D Teams for hardware and software

Qualifikationen:

  • MSc or PhD in bioloy, physics, biophysics, ideally in the area of highend microscopy for biomedical research
  • Basic to advanced software development skills, especially skripting languages such as Python
  • Desirably very good theoretical and practial knowledge in the area of modern light optics
  • Languages: German and English on professional level
  • Willingness to travel occasionally
  • Willingness to work in an international and interdisciplinary team
