"Artificial Intelligence for Public Policy for sustainable behaviour"

Responsibilities:


  • Conducting research on AI for public policy for sustainable behavior.
  • Developing new algorithms, models, and tools for analyzing largescale data sets.
  • Collaborating with other researchers, policymakers, and stakeholders to design and implement effective solutions.
  • Collecting and interpreting data from various sources, such as surveys, experiments, or social media.
  • Communicating findings through scientific publications, presentations, and reports.
  • Contributing to the dissemination and impact of the research by engaging with the wider research community and the public.

Qualifications:

  • A master's degree in computer science, artificial intelligence, statistics, or a related field.
  • Strong programming skills (Python, R, Java, etc.) and experience with machine learning algorithms and frameworks (Tensorflow, PyTorch, etc.)
  • Excellent analytical and problemsolving skills.
  • Good communication, teamwork, and time management skills.
  • A strong commitment to sustainability and social responsibility.
  • A good level of English and German is essential. Good oral and written communication abilities. Work is in person in Mainz
  • You have not started your PhD thesis yet; if you have been working scientifically on your topic since more than one year after obtaining your university degree, we consider that you have started your PhD thesis
  • Knowledge of statistics and experimental design
  • Project management experience is a plus
