Software Systems Solutions (3S) connects advanced electrified powertrain systems together with highly integrated vehicle functions to ensure system efficiency and improved safety and vehicle dynamics together with enhanced customer user experience.

Key Responsibilites:

Motivation:
Intelligent usage of available data is key to achieve meaningful insights of real life product behavior. In our department, we evaluate valuable data of powertrain components in customers vehicle fleet. With reasonable reports, root-cause analysis of failures can be supported or even failures detected, before they get severe.

Therefore you need to combine the domain knowledge of transmission and eDrive components as well as the methodological knowledge in the field of data engineering, what makes the job so interesting.

Tasks:

Support the team in data engineering tasks
KPI Maintenance (Data sources, amount of data, computing power)
Coding
Creation and maintenance of SW tests for data pipeline functions (TDD)
Maintenance and extension of a SW test environment for local development of data analysis algorithms for the cloud
Transfer of developed algorithms into a function library (Python / Spark)
Power BI
Dashboard maintenance / design
Dashboard optimization (analysis graphs, research stateofart,...)
Development of correlation dashboards

Key Qualifications / Requirements:

Working towards a Bachelor's or Master's degree in computer engineering, industrial engineering, mechatronics or similar
Very good command of written and spoken English, German is a strong plus
High interest in automotive and willingness to understand problems in technical context
Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office products
Good Knowledge in Python
Base Knowledge in Power BI
Knowledge in Azure DB and SQL is a strong plus
Willingness for a 69 month assignment starting in April/May
