As a

UX/UI Designer (M/F/d), you will focus on solving complex, business-critical issues alongside product owners, engineers, data scientists, and other stakeholders for our major health insurance tools.

We're excited to expand the team with a UX generalist to help forward our primary design missions:

Helping our users feel more at home using our tools through implementing a standard design framework
Enabling our users to serve their clients better through designing features intuitively and validating with user testing
Making our tools more user friendly and enjoyable by strengthening our user feedback touchpoints around the world

Day-to-day, you will spend time:

Creating and reviewing UX deliverables, such as user journey maps, personas, and wireframes, with stakeholders to ensure a common understanding and pivoting when necessary
Collaborating closely with engineers to understand technical constraints, ideate on potential alternatives, hand off designs, and ensure accurate implementation
Attending daily standups with your team and presenting your designs during the Sprint Review
Meeting with your fellow designer to share recent designs, work through tricky design issues, and maintain a consistent experience across all of our tools
Planning and executing user research and testing to gather insights into customer needs and behaviors
Prototyping design solutions in Figma using components from the Allianz design system

About you:

3+ years of experience designing for complex webbased products, with a strong portfolio demonstrating your design skills and process You hold a degree or equivalent experience in design, Human-Computer interaction, or a related field Effective storytelling as well as experience in transporting ideas to project teams from other fields and creating / working with UI pattern libraries and style guides Strong communication skills, both written and oral, with natural ability to articulate and defend design decisions Expertise in tools to support design, prototyping and documentation (e.g. Figma, Miro, Confluence) Knowledge of the possibilities and limitations of frontend technologies (HTML, javascript, CSS, etc), as well as experience in agile working Fluent businesslevel English required; other languages advantageous
