Your Tasks:


Finance / Controlling in supply chain acts as a strong business partner to the pillar owners in the CARE+ journey by supporting in driving/implementing change that will come in the business by strongly collaborating with the projects leads and other stakeholders in the organization by providing support in modelling the long term impact ,creation and preparation of business case for transition of products and investments to support that transition, develop and support decision matrix which helps the company to take comprehensive view of the action or inaction, implement cost and KPI transparency.


As Supply Chain Controller 3PP and Innovation, you will act as a business partner by supporting in the execution with cross-functional team and act as integrator back into Global Supply Chain Controlling in the current business processes.


Your responsibilities:

  • Work very closely with 3PP Procurement Team to track commodity markets & economic developments which has strong influence on COGS to bring in the right intelligence in the business to the management to support pricing and product positioning strategy
  • Steering, planning, and reporting of material prices for 3PMs and analysis of trends and category spends to give detailed insights to the Top Management on reasons for price developments and expected price changes in the short & medium term
  • Drive and standardize 3PP negotiation process, create transparency and validate ICPs for 3PM prices and support in roll out of the 3PM planning tool
  • Act as a Business Partner to project teams, providing support in long, medium
- and short-term business modelling & integration in the current business processes of the company like IIM process, ABP, Forecasts etc.

  • Develop right tracking tools, processes, and reports to ensure all the relevant stakeholders in projects & GSCC have common understanding on business impacts
  • Codesign standardized and digitize methods for IIM cost calculation with strong cooperation with different controlling functions, Procurement, R&D and SCPLs
  • Help drive transparency in IIM cost and also integrate VE/optimization opportunities
  • Help and lead from GSCC to pilot, develop, deploy solutions for new KPI as may be relevant or adapt the current KPI's and process where needed and bring them into action
  • Actively and regularly provide trainings to IIM community and ensure consistent methodology across all Business Units
  • Support in budget planning and tracking & adhoc analysis to support decision making

Your Profile:


  • A degree in engineering, business informatics or business administration, ideally with major in supply chain finance or controlling
  • Learning mindset with bias for action.
  • Desired Relevant experience in but not limited to manufacturing controlling (Manufacturing, Supply chain, Sales, Marketing),
  • Strong methodological skills (e.g. supply chain processes and business case calculation and modelling)
  • High strategic ,conceptual and analytical competence, proactivity and creativity in solutions to create model, new matrix with strong IT and data management skills,
  • Strong project & change management experience and skills, project team lead experience will be helpful
  • Constructive and pragmatic attitude, fun in interdisciplinary collaboration, international mindset
  • Distinct skills in communication & presentation and story telling.
  • Assertive and convincing in a role with high exposure with senior stakeholders, resilient under pressure with multitasking and time pressures
  • Autonomous working attitude with high motivation to take over wider responsibilities within the Beiersdorf group
  • Solid knowledge of MS Office and good user knowledge of BI/SAP, knowledge of Power Bi would be desirable Critical but not necessary, however the individual should be willing to learn
  • International working experience
  • Fluent written and spoken English
