Star Alliance Singapore is a subsidiary management organisation that coordinates Star Alliance activities and manages joint projects on behalf of the world's largest airline alliance.

The holding company is based in Frankfurt, Germany.

Our primary customers are our numerous member airlines from around the globe, but we interact with consumers through a number of products and forums.


We currently offer the following internship in Singapore:

Intern Customer Experience (Travel Experience) - (M/F/D)


This is a position in the Customer Experience business unit, which consists of two subunits: Travel Experience and Loyalty Services.

The Travel Experience team focuses on improving the customer experience for airport services such as coordinated transfer processes and baggage handling.

It leads co-location projects which bring all Star Alliance member airlines under one roof at the same airport terminal.

The team also manages products such as security and immigration priority lanes for Star Alliance's premium customers and dedicated Star Alliance branded lounges at key airports around the world.


Internship Facts

  • Period: July to December (Minimum 6 months)
  • Location: Changi Business Park, Singapore (onsite)

Job Summary

  • Support delivery of business cases for new initiatives or product enhancements for key Star Alliance products
  • Deliver analysis on competitive landscape of Star Alliance products
  • Engage stakeholders and vendors to develop potential product streams and implementations
  • Optimise project reporting to ensure stakeholders are kept informed in a timely and sustainable manner
  • Produce fast, qualified and unbiased analysis and reports to enable informed product implementation decisions
  • Prepare briefing notes and presentations for Star Alliance member airline visits, meetings and industry discussions
  • Support the customer experience business unit with the preparation and organisation of Strategy team events

Your Profile

  • Student in the field of Aviation Management, Business Administration or Tourism Management in Singapore
  • Relevant aviation experience advantageous
  • Excellent attention to detail
  • Good knowledge of MS office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook), PowerBI or other data analytics tools a plus
  • High level of proficiency in English is essential, as it is the sole language used for communication with Star Alliance Member Airlines and other external stakeholders
  • Ability to contribute in an international environment, cultural awareness
  • Selfinitiative with team spirit
  • Very good communication and interpersonal skills
  • Excellent organisational and time management skills
