Jobbeschreibung:

***: Responsible for the Frankfurt Stockrooms (WHF), Shipping, and Receiving teams and functions relating to customer requests and shipments. The Parts Operations Team Leader must be an enthusiastic coach and mentor, engaging the teams in continuous improvement with a focus on achieving, or surpassing, the goals and objectives of the organization.


KEY PERFORMANCE INDICATORS:


  • Maintain a 1% or less error rate in shipping and pulling of parts/assemblies.
  • Pick projects by the target completion date.
  • The current target is to have all parts orders shipped 70% same day as order and 90%<10 Days

JOB FUNCTIONS

Essential Functions


Ensure consistent processes and standard work across the Frankfurt site Supervise stockroom personnel and support in performing daily tasks as needed Ensure stock items are correctly identified and packaged to meet customer expectations.

Process returns and repairs. Process shipments (pick, pack, ship, and track). Obtain and sort products, materials, and orders using hand and power tools.

Receive shipments and confirm that product quality is per the purchase order; work with purchasing team to resolve product concerns and/or discrepancies.

Kit and assemble. Measure, weigh, photograph and count products and materials using equipment.

Read work orders or receive and listen to oral instructions to determine work assignment Tend to packing machines and equipment that prepare and package materials & products.

Load shipments and move material utilizing forklifts, cranes, hi-lift, etc. Participate in weekend/holiday on-call rotation for emergency parts shipping. Monitor levels of supplies and recommend re-order. Perform all other operational duties requested by the CO Parts Value Stream leader. Comply with company standards for attendance and hours of work. Promote and support company-sponsored affirmative action/equal opportunity efforts.

Maintain work area and equipment in a clean, orderly condition, informing supervisor of defective or faulty equipment or materials and unusual conditions, maintaining quality standards and following safety rules.

POSITION QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS

Education:
Minimum of high school diploma or GED.


Experience:
Should be familiar with BW Papersystems product lines and parts. Previous Customer Service and/or Manufacturing experience is desired.


Skills and Abilities

  • A working knowledge Microsoft Office.
  • Must be well organized and detail orientated.
  • The ability to read mechanical and electrical prints.
  • The ability to problem solve and work with a sense of urgency.
  • Must be open to change and continuously improve.
  • The ability to influence and participate in a customers' decision process.
  • The ability to drive forklift and operate overhead crane.
  • The ability to communicate effectively with others verbally and in writing

Travel Requirements:

Up to 25% travel between the EMEA sites


Physical Activities:

Sitting, walking, climbing stairs, reaching, bending, lifting, carrying items up to 50 pounds.
