Weekdays, flexible working hours, availability in evenings and selected weekends needed

Berlin (including home office)


Contract:
Limited contract (until end of 2023), starting ASAP.


Your mission:


We are looking for a caring, reliable, playful and solution-oriented Student Community Coordinator to join the Digital Career Program team in Berlin.

This program provides digital education to adults from marginalised communities in order to empower them and foster their job market integration.

The Digital Career Program offers tech courses that run for 4 months and 2 semesters/year - all made possible through the great support of volunteer teachers.


  • You are the first point contact of the students in the Digital Career Program at ReDI School Berlin
  • Promote the Digital Career Program offers to the community with migration backgrounds in Berlin
  • Organise and facilitate screening, open days and onboarding sessions for a new cohort of students
  • Empower women to succeed in the IT sector
  • Create impacts on students and alumni taking our course and workshop offers (job placement, improved tech and soft skills)
  • Developing measures for student tracking (impact, progress, retention, engagement)
  • Analyse and report studentrelated information
  • Facilitating student feedback sessions for program improvement
  • Support Demo Days to prepare student presentations
  • Work independently in collaboration with the Student Community Manager and Volunteer Community Manager
  • Alignment of the student management topics across the ReDI locations (procedures, policies, tools, communication strategies)

Your tasks:


Learner outreach and recruitment

  • Cocreate and implement learner recruitment strategy
  • Plan and facilitate learner interview process
  • Run the admission and onboarding of new learners

Data management

  • Manage learner and course data on Salesforce
  • Analyse learner data for impact reporting

Learning platform management

  • Updating the learner hub (educational platform)

Community communication

  • Lead on learner communication and announcements of key milestone events and comms
  • Create and maintain learner feedback loops

Event and course management

  • Support the concept design, scheduling and facilitation of our onsite/online events (Tech Onboarding, Orientation, Screening, Semester onsite sessions, Demo Day)
  • Onsite course management

Your profile:


  • Energetic selfstarter with a passion for community building, social integration of underprivileged communities and looking to empower newcomers through education
  • Availability to work in the evenings (courses take place between 18:00 21:00, Mondays
  • Thursdays)
  • Great sense of empathy and patience, and the ability to get along with people from all walks of life
  • Passionate about tech education and studentcentred learning
  • Team player with excellent social skills
  • Strong digital communication and organisation skills (Google Workspace, Slack)
  • Good analytics skills to work with learnerrelated data
  • Skills and willingness to facilitate online and inperson events
  • A good communicator, fluent in spoken and written English
  • An interest in the tech industry and experience with coding is a big plus
