About the opportunity:

We are looking for Product Designer(s) to join N26's UX Team.

In this role, you will be working in a cross-functional team to collaboratively deliver great user experience of our product offering(s).

You will report to our UX Leader within the FCP (FinCrime Prevention) segment.

We are a multidisciplinary team of 40+ talented individuals (known as "UXers"), who practice Product Design, User Research, UX Writing, and Design Operations.

Most of our UXers are distributed across various cross-functional teams, looking after different product verticals. Our team is based in Berlin and Barcelona.

As the Product Designer for FinCrime Prevention (FCP) segment, you will work on customer facing and staff facing journeys, such as Login, Authentication, KYC and Risk mitigation.

You will define opportunities and lead solutions through web & native apps, internal tools, machine learning and integration of third-party platforms.

FinCrime Prevention (FCP) is responsible for the systems that manage anti money laundering and fraud risks as well as aspects of user authentication and customer risk.

Its mission is to reduce the overall financial impact of fraud and compliance.

In this role, you will:

Drive the endtoend design process: take responsibility for the entire design process from initial research, ideation, conceptualization and design, to testing and validation.
Define problems based on customer insights and feedback: work together with other UXers, data analysts, product managers, engineers, etc. to turn insights into opportunities.
Enhance the delightfulness: design mobile and web interfaces that are incredibly simple, elegant, and enjoyable for users.
Contribute to design excellence and consistency: advocate for and nurture our NXD (_N26 Experience Design_) Design System.

What you need to be successful:

You have at least 3 years of experience designing digital products (for Mobile and Web) in cross-functional product teams.
You have collaborated with crossfunctional partners effectively by creating tangibility and facilitation.
You are no stranger to working with, and contributing to design systems in your daytodays.
You have proven ability to facilitate usability testing, leverage user research insights and gather data to inform your design decisions.
You know when to articulate your ideas and decisions eloquently, and when to listen.
