Your career at Deutsche Börse Group:


Your area of work:


Together with colleagues, you will act as a contact person for other divisions of Deutsche Börse Group on various tax issues, but with a focus on foreign tax matters.

These include, for example, indirect taxes (US sales tax), registration and reporting obligations. In addition, you will be involved in interesting topics within Group Tax, e.g. support with product-specific tax issues and activities relating to income tax and/or VAT. At the same time, we offer the opportunity to participate in extensive national and/or international projects.


Your responsibilities:


  • Assistance and responsible preparation of US sales tax returns
  • Contact person and coordinator for external consultants with a focus on foreign indirect tax issues, registration and reporting obligations
  • Participation in the automation and digitalisation of taxrelevant processes (SAP S/4 HANA, Tax Engine) including the structuring of relevant data
  • Supporting upstream processes, e.g. billing, purchasing, with regard to tax requirements, their implementation and monitoring
  • Support in the further development of internal guidelines and control systems
  • Responsible contact person and central coordinator for operational taxes (German capital gains tax and comparable international obligations)
  • Preparation, coordination and quality assurance of expert opinions/assessments on tax issues
  • Processing of ongoing tax cases (income tax and/or VAT)
  • Participation in extensive projects with regard to national and international tax issues
  • Intensive cooperation with the relevant interfaces within Deutsche Börse Group and with external partners or representatives of the authorities is intended

Your profile:


  • Completed (specialised) university degree in business administration with a focus on taxes, finance or a comparable qualification
  • Strong analytical skills, entrepreneurial thinking, commitment, ability to work in a team, excellent communication skills and flexibility
  • Profound knowledge of process analysis and optimisation in the finance area (accounting and/or tax)
  • Experience in US sales tax preferable
  • Several years of professional experience in the financial market and/or auditing environment with knowledge of German capital gains tax will be an advantage
  • Additional qualification as a tax consultant preferred
  • Business fluent in written and spoken German and English
